On September 14 we will be releasing version 15.9 of Atomia, our cloud hosting software platform, and it’s full of new features we are excited to share with you. Here is a sneak peek.
For any hosting company, a smooth and friendly order process is vital when you want to sign up new users or sell services to existing customers. When we launched Atomia 15.3 this March, we also launched the beta of Atomia Store, the next generation of our customizable order and signup page.
OpenStack Kilo is the 11th release of OpenStack, the powerful open source cloud software that we leverage for Atomia’s cloud hosting features. Among other things, our software platform adds billing and hosting automation to OpenStack, making it possible to effectively sell OpenStack-based public cloud services such as VPS and online storage.
As of Atomia 15.3, released this March, our cloud hosting software platform includes support for PostgreSQL in addition to MySQL and MS SQL Server. In other words, our customers can now offer PostgreSQL databases to their end users.

As of Atomia 15.3, released last month, our cloud hosting software platform comes with integrated support for Halon, a secure email solution that is ideal for hosting companies and similar services. In other words, it is a great match for Atomia’s customers.
WorldHostingDays (more commonly known just as WHD) is a great hosting industry event, or we should probably say series of events. Only a couple of weeks ago we were at WHD.global, the really big one in Germany. Needless to say, it was a fantastic event with thousands attending from all over the world and we had a great time. There is arguably no better place to meet people from the hosting industry.
This year, WHD is for the first time organizing an event in the United States, WHD.usa. We will be there, and just as with WHD.global we are sponsors. We’ll have a big booth, so you’re more than welcome to swing by and hang out.
