Scalable
The Atomia platform scales extremely well. The Atomia Automation Server is a lightweight application that can provision to any set of external resources such as web servers, load balancers or storage units, allowing you to put Atomia applications and end user services on a standalone machine or on one or more clusters, all of which may be geographically spread among different data centers.
Secure
All Atomia applications are developed and configured with security in mind as detailed by the latest best practices. All API calls and end-user control panels are SSL or WS-SECURITY encrypted. Also, supported third-party applications are always configured and integrated in a secure and reliable manner.

Atomia Automation Server and our control panels are fully modular and extensible. With the included platform programming interfaces, you can easily create Automation Server modules that allow your platform to communicate with new external entities, and by creating control panel functionality with the Atomia Webframe SDK, you can easily let your end users manage the new services you have added.

The Atomia platform is a modular hosting platform with sensible defaults, providing your customers with a great hosting experience out of the box. However, you have full control over every part of the system.
Modifying or extending the platform is an easy task and only requires a minimal amount of code, giving you a very short time-to-market. In many cases, even advanced functionality can be implemented in a matter of days.
Also, the modular and configurable structure of the platform, including the pre-written modules of the Cloud Hosting Pack, allows you to mix and match modules to your liking, creating exciting new customer offers without a single line of code.

Developer friendly
Even though a standard installation means 100% configuration and no programming code, all our products expose SOAP application programming interfaces for interacting with the outside world. All Atomia control panels and applications are API clients, many of which in turn expose APIs or plugin structures for easy extensibility. With Atomia, you get the same flexibility as if you had built the entire platform yourself – without having to modify a single line of code – and if you want to add something, you only have to focus on minor parts of the code.
