About us

The Atomia platform and its surrounding services are the sole focus of Atomia AB, a software automation company based in Sweden and Serbia whose story goes as far back as 1999. Back then, Sam Nurmi, Atomia’s founder, started Loopia, a web hosting company that quickly turned into the largest shared hosting provider in Sweden (and it still is). Loopia is the registrar for approximately 30% of all domain names on the “Swedish” part of the Internet.

With the hosting industry experience we have gained during more than a decade in the business, we have a deep understanding of what both web hosts and their clients want – be it the average blogger, the tech-savvy web developer or the enthusiastic graphical designer. This bulk of knowledge led to the creation of the Atomia platform – an affordable, modern and feature rich hosting and server automation platform for any type of hosting scenario.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide our clients with a full-scale hosting and automation platform that will give them a competitive advantage and a solid platform to stand on for future growth. Our product is designed to be much more than just a hosting product; it is a programmable framework that gives our clients the ability to modify everything about the platform, including configurations, business rules and products offered.

We also want to empower our clients by allowing them to replace legacy systems developed in-house with the Atomia Automation Server and its associated products, giving clients a well-structured and documented software solution that is flexible, configurable and fully extensible. Not only does this improve efficiency, but it has the added benefit of making the company less dependent on the expertise of a few individual employees which is often the case in many organizations.

Mladen Stojanović

CEO

An entrepreneur and big believer in automation, Mladen is the lead project manager of the Atomia platform. He is also the CEO of web development company Troxo and the creative mobile development company Dear Future Astronaut NY. Having been in charge of numerous projects for large web hosts, Mladen has a deep understanding and thorough knowledge of the hosting and DNS industry.

Jimmy Bergman

Lead developer and system architect

On top of being the lead developer and systems architect of the Atomia platform, Jimmy is also an all-around programming ninja who is not afraid to tackle any problem in any programming language, on any platform, with any database backend. Having a certain inclination towards domain names in general and DNS in particular, Jimmy is the brains behind products such as Atomia DNS and Atomia Domain Registration and has helped numerous web hosts and domain name resellers with his DNS and DNSSEC expertise.

Executive VP

Magnus is our sales wizard. Coming from the ERP industry where he ran his own web application company he knows a great deal about marketing systems. With experience in handling large system implementations he knows a thing or two about making sure that clients get what they need. Apart from this he has established himself as the company football and outdoor geek.
